As a college student, I learned that it is not easy to cook for yourself every day and find healthy recipes to get your nutrients in. I was always very used to having home-cooked meals and eating very healthily. Another issue many college students run into is that trying to be healthy can get expensive and not fall into the college student budget.

3 Easy Healthy Recipes for College Students:

  1. For breakfast, Overnight Oats are a very nutritious breakfast. It is easy and quick to make the night before and can save you a lot of time in the oatmeal. This recipe consists of oatmeal, water, and any toppings one might like to add. A few are fruits, peanut butter, and cinnamon.
  2. For lunch, as someone who likes to eat something light, a Salad can be a very healthy option and you can just add many different things for protein. An example is a hard-boiled egg because it is something that can fill you up with your salad.
  3. For dinner, Grilled Chicken with vegetables. This recipe is very easy because all you need is chicken and you can even buy microwavable vegetables that are still very healthy. For the chicken, to make it healthy, all you need to add is very little seasoning because the vegetables will also help give the chicken taste.
