Taylor Swift’s sixth headline concert tour, the Eras Tour, is now underway, with the opening show debuting in Glendale, Arizona. Swift is embarking on the Eras Tour in support of all of her albums, including her most recent album, Midnights. This announcement sparked excitement in all of her fans across the globe, as Swift has not toured for her other recent albums due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The day that tickets were available for purchase, the artist sold 2.4 million concert tickets in a single day, setting a new record. The opening show was held at Arizona’s State Farm Stadium, where approximately 80,000 fans attended and enjoyed a five-hour performance of Taylor Swift’s diverse range of songs from her previous albums.
